University of Copenhagen's new international students gathered Thursday for the first time to begin a Danish language course and for a first orientation lecture. Most were excited and a little overwhelmed.

To assess the influence of extreme endurance efforts on the human body, six well-trained male cyclists, averaging sixty years of age, are biking up to the north of Norway. More than 200 kilometres a day in fourteen days.
They will be followed by two University of Copenhagen medical students who will meticulously record their intake of water and collect urine samples to estimate the total energy consumption.
