Most international students residing at a dorm will sooner or later have a 'Tour de Chambre'. This party is merely a good excuse to drink a ridiculous amount of alcohol and consists of going from one room to the other, drinking along the way.
This way you can see how 'hyggeligt' (cosily, ed.) your neighbour's room is decorated, get to know your roomates better and play games (drinking games, of course).
For the Tour de Chambre, your room needs to have a theme and it had better be a good one, because you're Danish counterparts do not lack imagination.
On Saturday 27 March our reporter had the chance to experience a Tour de Chambre at the dorms of Tietgenkollegiet (the cool, circular residence on Amager) which was followed by the Semester start Party at the bar on the ground floor.
