On an unusually warm and sunny Janurary day in Boston, Massachussetts, our reporter Sarah Mongeau-Birkett took her camera and found these students. From classy clothes to 'whatever it fits', students from Boston University seem to be quite diverse in their fashion styles. But they all have something in common: their style is not random.

Gallery: International Fascination of Plants Day

International Fascination of Plants Day gave visitors unprecedented access to the many collections and projects in the University's gardens and greenhouses in Frederiksberg. Visitors were able to participate in guided tours of the outside gardens and themed talks by University staff. At the end of the practice season USG dance teams show off what they have learned in an energetic dance show. From urban to African, and from Oriental to ballet, there were enough moves to impress everyone in the audience. Held at the Department of Sports Sciences, the hall was filled with friends, family, photographers and curious visitors.

The University Sports Organization, USG, offers weekly classes offering everything from tribal style bellydance to parkour.

The darkness of the night was lighted up by the many colours. Dressed in creative combinations, students of CSS and their friends filled the main bar Kommunen and the basement of building four. Partying till the morning light the dancefloor, football tables and the many mini bars were rocking.

Party Watch: CSS revelry

The University Post sent a photographer and reporter to capture the best party animals of the evening at CSS, central campus Saturday night. The dress code of the merrymaking was 'Colours'. All departments taking part in the fun wore a specific theme colour.

Take a look at the daring sociology students dressed in green, the sexy psychologists in black, political scientists in bright red, masked public health scientists in yellow, hot caseworkers in purple, and anthropologists dressed as gigantic blue smurfs.

Annual physics revue bash will be a circus

Who says scientists don’t know how to have fun? This Friday and Saturday, 4 and 5 May, sixty physics students from the Niels Bohr Institute at the University will challenge this notion by inviting audience members and party goers to FysikRevy, an all-out bash that celebrates student life at the Institute.

The show has been an annual and well-loved tradition since 1989, along with a host of other revues that will also kick off this spring including mathematics, molecular biomedicine and computer science.

Rush to get on Kronborg staff tour

A trip for international PhDs, Postdocs and teaching staff has become so popular that organisers have had to turn down applicants.

This is according to organisers of the trip, the International Staff Mobility (ISM) office at the University of Copenhagen.

Saturday’s bus trip to Kronborg castle in Elsinore (Helsingør) was jam-packed with 72 research staff. They were the lucky few, apparently, as upwards of 50 had to be turned down.
