The Royal Library in Copenhagen is a very special library. Not because it’s royal and not because of its architecture, or view which is admittedly breathtaking. The Royal Library, also known as the Black Diamond, is one of the most popular study spots in town simply because it’s THE place to be for students. Known to house stunning nerds, brainy babes and well-dressed elderly scholars the place is practically a free, real-life version of Elite Daters online. Students from CBS, Roskilde University and University of Copenhagen seem to overcome their differences here where a strut, daring eyes or the correct style of walk up and down the escalator is the real lingua franca. If this place can’t beat the Parisian beauties it’s up against nobody can. We sent out a reporter to take a look at what people here actually do and where they’re from.
