Beer and boardgames at political science camp

The last weekend of February saw the Cabin Trip, for all international students studying Political Science at the University of Copenhagen.

Around 50 students and Danish mentors took part in the weekend away in the countryside of Northwest Zealand.

The Cabin Trip is held each year and is quite popular among students who get the chance to meet most of their fellow classmates and have a great time.

This year was no exception: beer was abundant, laughs were omnipresent and great friendships were established.

Tour de Chambre party at Tietgenkollegiet

Most international students residing at a dorm will sooner or later have a 'Tour de Chambre'. This party is merely a good excuse to drink a ridiculous amount of alcohol and consists of going from one room to the other, drinking along the way.

This way you can see how 'hyggeligt' (cosily, ed.) your neighbour's room is decorated, get to know your roomates better and play games (drinking games, of course).

For the Tour de Chambre, your room needs to have a theme and it had better be a good one, because you're Danish counterparts do not lack imagination.

Glitzy guerilla dining

During fashion week, international student Tiffany Ng’s company Silver Spoon took over a 400-year old two-floor house to stage a guerilla dining event. Showcasing upcoming models, designers, photographers and DJ’s, Tiffany pulled off 3 courses for a mere DKK 225 including cocktails.

As a guerrilla dining event maker, she takes over empty spaces such as a garage or a cultural centre and turns them into a restaurant for a single event.

See photos from the event here.
