Gallery: International Fascination of Plants Day

International Fascination of Plants Day gave visitors unprecedented access to the many collections and projects in the University's gardens and greenhouses in Frederiksberg. Visitors were able to participate in guided tours of the outside gardens and themed talks by University staff. Open hours in the greenhouses, information booths and a plant sale rounded out the experience. Check out our photos from the plant collection, and highlights of the day in our gallery. You can also read more about the day (article link: here)

The revue spirit is spreading through the university mixed with a bit of spring. Students dress up, mock university life and have a laugh. This time around it was the students from the former Faculty of Life Sciences that got up on stage. Our photographer was there in the packed theatre to capture students turned hunters, musicians, cavemen and much more. Click the first picture and get your piece of the fun!

Gallery: Research project is last hope for ...

Ash trees in Denmark and the rest of Europe are being severely hit by the rapidly spreading ash disease. Forestry student, Martin Slot, wants to save the species. If successful, Martin's techniques will be able to maintain and expand the three to five per cent of the remaining trees that are healthy. His project is in cooperation with the Danish Nature Agency, and aims to test hypotheses that might save the ash trees.
