In the spring semester of 2010 I sadly had a lecturer with poor English as well. I didn't mind that is English wasn't the best when it came to spelling and grammar - we all make mistakes here and there. I myself cannot say that I always write spelling-error free or without any mistakes in grammar. The annoying thing was mainly his pronunciation, including a quite strong Danish accent. We all knew that it was his first time teaching the subject in English (he even apologized for his English beforehand) and one could tell that he wasn’t totally comfortable doing so. On the other hand many international students wouldn’t have been able to take the class if he wouldn’t offer it in English now.
The subject was great and it still holds a lot of interest and potential for me even though it was hard to follow the lectures. If more classes would be offered by him I would still take them!
