The world famous political theorist and European thinker, Chantal Mouffe, is visiting the University of Copenhagen to give a lecture in December

Renowned European thinker and Professor of Political Theory at the University of Westminster, Chantal Mouffe, is in town to give the lecture ‘Quo Vadis, Europa? Debating democratic models for Europe’ at the University of Copenhagen.

The Belgian theorist, who is perhaps best known as one of the authors of the post-Marxist work Hegemony and Socialist Strategy, co-written with Ernesto Laclau, is the final speaker in the lecture series ‘7 challenges to Europe – EURECO Distinguished Lecture Series’.

Tuesday 8 December, 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Alexander Hall, Bispetorv 1-3, DK-1167 Copenhagen K

The event is organised by European Research at the University of Copenhagen (EURECO).
