The orientation meeting was a laugh for this new student
With a cold rainstorm raging outside, the main auditorium at the Faculty of Humanities was probably the best place to be.
Hundreds of students gave their full attention to the traditional first-day-of-class briefing, although some said to the University Post that they were still jet-lagged from their incoming flights.
New exchange students are always welcomed to the University of Copenhagen with a large-scale mass orientation meeting with information about university procedures, courses in English, social networks and tips on student life.
The International Office organisers told the University Post that they, as usual, had been worried about getting the message out to all new international students. This time however their attendance figures were helped out by lashing rain and winds, as students opted to stay in after other pre-semester intros in the morning.
There will be another orientation meeting 6 February for those that missed out.
The University Post captured the vibe in a picture gallery here.
