Students from across the globe welcomed to the University of Copenhagen

See pictures from the event in our gallery here.

Students from across the EU, the USA and as far away as China were introduced to the university system and given an opportunity to meet each other at an orientation meeting the University holds each semester for new international students.

The international office provided the usual blizzard of courses into Danish culture, Scandinavian mythology and practical language, accompanied by an invitation to visit Russia and of course, a welcome from the University Post.

Since most new students have been here less then a week, the University Post took the opportunity to ask them what they feel is strange about Copenhagen now - as in a few short months it will feel perfectly natural. We will publish the results soon.

You can catch a glimpse of the new students in our gallery here.
