The Student Café on Købmagergade hosts an International Café every Wednesday and Happy Hour on Fridays from 12-19. See the full February programme here

For recently arrived international students, the Student Café is one of the first places to get to know. There is cheap beer (when you show your University of Copenhagen student card), live music and a chance to meet other international students every Wednesday evening.

Thursday 4 February 21:00: KLUB 2.0 with Chainsaw Eaters + Human Race’s Run + DJ E
KLUB 2.0 is the Student Cafés monthly electronic live event, which gives new and upcoming acts a chance to perform to a friendly audience.

CHAINSAW EATERS is a mixture of post-punk, psychedelic punk and screaming vocals, inspired by the 80’s punk scene and names such as Sods, Ballet Mecanique, Joy Division and New Order. Expect dark nightmare punk, experimental electro and everything in between. HUMAN RACE’S RUN resuscitates rave with tight and danceable rock with repetitive guitar up front.

The theme is ’Back to the 40’s’ and fancy dress is welcome. There is free champagne for the first 50 guests in fancy dress.

A free taster of swing dancing from 14:30 to 15:00. The bar opens at 15:00.

Tuesday 9 February 19:00: BLUS (the organisation for gay, lesbian and transsexual students in Copenhagen).
BLUS run the bar and get together for a beer or two.

Wednesday 10 February 19:INTERNATIONAL CAFÉ
A party for anyone from anywhere; Danes and internationals come together for music, beer and fun.

Thursday 11 February 21:00: MUSIC by Sange til den sidste luksusgeneration + Das Lustige Fahrrad

Friday 12 February 15:30: BEATBAR – Rocky Benatar
Unplugged concerts and cosy atmosphere in the café every Friday. ROCKY BENATAR plays melodical, aggressive popmusic.

Friday 12 February 21:00:INDIE NIGHT (Klub Tone) with No Blood In Bones + FONTÄN (S) + Klub Tone DJ’s

Saturday 13 February 22:00: Music with MISS LEROY’S DELIGHT

Concerts with upcoming bands from the Copenhagen area.

Friday 26 February 15:30: BEATBAR – Workers in Songs
Unplugged concerts and cosy atmosphere in the café every Friday. WORKERS IN SONGS started out as a three person folk group and played together for two years, before expanding the band and their sound with an electric guitar, drums and a saxophone. This development has added a country flavour to their sound. They mix the best of folk and country, throw it up in the air and catch it again, playing with love and without compromise.
