The speaker will be Mitch Campbell, a Canadian who has been living in Denmark for four years.
This year he has taken two years off from teaching to pursue his passion for space and is studying at the Niels Bohr Institute. With this in mind, he has prepared a talk about Astrobiology - trying to answer some of the most fundamental questions, such as: 'Are we alone in the Universe?' The presentation is intended for the general public, and no prior knowledge about science is needed.
The presentation is sponsored by both the Niels Bohr Institute and the Dark Cosmology Centre.
»What better way could there be to spend a Wednesday evening than by learning about life on other planets?,« Mitch Campbell writes in the invitation.
It takes place Wednesday 24 February, at 19.00 (doors open at 18:30) at the Niels Bohr Institute's Rockefeller Complex: Juliane Maries Vej 30, Copenhagen N. Admission is free. Due to limited seats, sign up by e-mail to Mitch at mitch.campbell@tutoring.dk, and mention your name and how many people you will be. There will be people at the door to check off names at the Niels Bohr Institute.
